Making the Right Turn explores the modern-day ethical
dilemmas involved with programming automated vehicles
in life-and-death situations, enabling us to determine
whose life is to be protected and under what circumstanc-
es. Although the context of the issue is completely new,
its underlying ideological underpinnings are old, basic,
and fundamental. The goal of the lesson is for students to
tackle this contemporary issue in light of ancient Talmudic
scenarios and rulings, and appreciate how Torah has
relevance to every aspect of our modern-day lives. They
will also gain a fresh insight into the unique perspective
that Torah, in contrast to contemporary thinking, has
towards a single human life.
Social events often offer great sensory experiences while educational programs prioritize knowledge over feelings.
Social learning brings the advantages of both together in one neat package. A first-class educational program with the stimulation of a gala-social. An appeal to the mind and the senses. Most importantly, an incorporated approach to allow for choice between round-table discussion, teacher-led dialogue, or a traditional shiur.
It is the new standard in Torah learning.

How it works:
Please watch this intro video to understand how a social learning event works.
Attendees socialize with their friends and have a great Torah conversation at the same time. You the shliach and shlucha are the moderators while the attendees and the card sets become the teachers.
